Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna

Founded in 1088, University of Bologna is the oldest university in the Werstern World, as well as one of the leading academic institutions in Italy and Europe.

Linked to the territory with a multicampus structure, as it is based in Bologna with campuses in Ravenna, Forlì, Cesena and Rimini, UNIBO is also focused on its international dimension. Hosting a consistent number of international and exchange students every year, University of Bologna is a comprehensive university, leader from sciences to arts, offering 215 degree program, of which 71 entirely taught in English.

According to the internationalization strategy of University of Bologna, the international relation offices are organized by a geographical approach as their mission is managing relations, projects and mobility flows involving a specific area of the world: in our case the Eastern Neighbourhood, Russia, Asia, Oceania and North American countries.

The IRO deals with every transversal aspect of international relations and the main activities are related to the agreement managements with partner universities, incoming and outgoing mobility management, as well as development and management of internationalization projects involving countries of the specific geographical area.
