The OPEN Networking Workshop and Study Visit, in which the Laotian Partners visited the University of Bologna (UNIBO), took place between the 24th and 27th of October.

The first and second day, 24th and 25th, were devoted to work on the details of the LUAI Network, with presentations from the European Partners and Working Sessions to which all of the partners contributed. The objectives of the Networking Workshops were to advance in the development and consolidation of the OPEN Project Network (LUAI). In particular, to agree on the relevant topics pertinent to internationalisation of the network including governance model, legal status, membership policy, etc; and to discuss concrete actions to be carried out in common between network members (such as fundraising and marketing campaigns, participation on international events, etc.).

The third and four days were focused on the Study Visit to the University of Bologna, in which UNIBO exposed its infrastructures and achievements, both internally and internationally. The objective of this Study Visit was to allow Laotian Partners to get an in-depth knowledge of the University of Bologna, especially in aspects relevant to Internationalisation and International Relations of Higher Education Institutions.
