Between the 13th and the 16th of September took place in Barcelona (Spain) the EAIE Conference. One representative from each Lao partner institution was invited. Participation in this Conference was an opportunity to maximise networking, to boost the visibility of the OPEN network at an international level, disseminate project results, and to promote cooperation between EU and International Higher Education Institutions and Laotian Universities. It also ensured that the OPEN partners were present during the current discussions regarding internationalisation and creating a “household name”. Additionally, it served the OPEN project to be recognized as the key provider of up-to-date and relevant information on internationalisation for Lao PDR HEIs.
