Training Workshops 4 and 5, it was the first meeting with all partners after the pandemic. It took place on the 26th and 27th of July 2022 in Luang Prabang,  hosted by Souphanouvong University.

Training Workshop 4 focused on Fundraising and Project Management. The first session was conducted by Robert Escarré, Director of the Office of Institutional Projects Management of the University of Alicante, he first explained the basics of Fundraising and then he exposed Fundraising in practice. That session was followed by Group work dynamics. The second session was given by Franca Maria Mura from the University of Bologna that was on “Erasmus + CBHE and Erasmus + International Credit Mobility: How can we strategize their impact on our institutions”. The last session of the workshop was about “Tips for Successful Project Management. New E-approach” and was given by Olga Bloshchinska from the University of Alicante.

Training Workshop 5 main topic was International Networking and Opportunities. The first session was delivered by Robert Pocklington from the University of Alicante and the aim was to introduce to the attendees the concept of Networking and its benefits, for which several examples from the University of Alicante and the University of Bologna were exposed. The second session was also focused on this theme. James Kennedy, an expert on the subject, exposed the different opportunities for networking for Lao Universities, and a group dynamic followed the theoretical session. He then talked about networking opportunities with EAIE, the European Centre for Expertise, networking, and Resources in the internationalisation of Higher Education. The Training Workshop ended with a presentation given by Elen García from the University of Alicante on stakeholder engagement.

The event concluded with a brief workshop recap in order to wrap up the ideas discussed in the two Training Workshops.
